Multifamily Development Approved in Glendale

Another great win for Glendale, Arizona as the City Council unanimously approved one of the last infill properties in the Arrowhead Towne Center area for a superior multifamily residential use.

For years, the 17-acre property west of the Loop 101 at Bell Road has sat vacant with proposed commercial uses. Shaine Alleman of Tiffany & Bosco worked with ADOT and the City of Glendale this year to amend the General Plan land use and rezone the property to accommodate the 3-4 story, 24 du/acre residential project. The development boasts 2 large amenity areas with pools, tot lots, dog parks, and a recreational trail connecting 83rd Avenue to Bell Road. Nearby neighbors came out in opposition, but the City recognized the quality of the development and the great addition this will be to the area. The Evergreen Investment Company plans to develop the property in the near future after further approvals are secured with FEMA for the adjacent New River embankment.
